How do I log into my account for the first time?

First time logging in? Here’s how it works:
  1. Go to the Schwab Investment Manager Gateway® homepage.
  2. Type in your Username and Password in the designated fields.
  3. Click the"Log in" button.
If you've forgotten your Login ID or password, just click on "Forgot Password?" in the Login box.

If you do not have access to the Schwab Investment Manager Gateway®, click the "Request Access" button in the center of the homepage and follow the simple instructions.

I forgot my username and password. Can you help me?

Your username is the email address you used to register for site access.

For password reset, just click on the "Forgot Password?" link. You will be asked for your email address and a temporary password will be sent to you. Don’t forget to reset your temporary password to a permanent one upon logging in by clicking the "My Profile" link at the top of the page.

When I try to login, it says that my profile has been locked out. How do I unlock my profile?

You may have been locked out due to inactivity or multiple tries with incorrect passwords. To have your profile unlocked, please send an email to IMGatewayAdmin@schwab.com.

How do I gain access to the grayed out areas of the site?

Access is granted depending on your service level. To upgrade your service level, speak to your relationship manager.

Who do I contact with questions about my account or the site?

Click the "Contact Us" link at the right of the page. Your questions will be forwarded to the appropriate party. Also, feel free to contact your relationship manager.
